Argo’s CTE team specializes in the design development stage and offers technical input across all Argo Development Studio projects.

Our CTE’s service also extends to design practices, contractors or developers in need of additional technical support. They will provide logical, detailed solutions using construction technologies to form the link between design and delivery.

Building Information Modelling

Our certified BIM professionals implement 4D – Virtual Clash Detection with Program Sequencing and 5D – Cost Analysis including Quantity Take-off. We are also integrating 6D – Energy Performance Analysis and finally 7D – Facility and Operations Management into our project modeling.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) allows buildings to be designed, costed and constructed in a virtual world prior to a site start. Traditional conflicting information that leads to site changes and inefficiencies are resolved in this virtual world with BIM. This ensures an efficient delivery, on budget and to programme. Argo’s staff members are certified (BIM) professionals and are leading in industry best practices.

IBC and Building Control Regulations

At Argo Development Studio, we ensure projects achieve compliance with the latest relevant regularity requirements. Every element of the design is cross checked to ensure that it meets or betters the local or international building codes. Our team will co-ordinate with local building control authorities and fulfil the role of assigned certifier by preparing and submitting all required documentation and performing thorough on site inspections. Linda Moore received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Architecture degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture from Kingston University, UK. Linda obtained her chartered status in 1988 and worked in both Trinidad and in the UK prior to returning to Barbados in 1991 and subsequently establishing Architects Cubed. She is a registered architect in both the United Kingdom and in Barbados.

Shawna Beechley holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration with a Concentration in hotel design and analysis. Following her marriage to a Barbadian she moved to Barbados in 1994 and shortly thereafter established Architects Cubed. She is a registered architect in Barbados.
